It started with Mom's mailbox
In 2010, our founder Marisol Ortega flew home to Sarasota to help her parents with their Medicare choices. The kitchen table was covered in mailers, each one promising to be the best plan. It took three weekends and a dozen phone calls to sort out.
She realized most people do not need a salesperson. They need a patient, honest neighbor who knows the rules and picks up the phone. A year later Evergreen Medicare Advisors opened on Main Street with one desk and a coffee maker.
Today we are a team of licensed advisors, but the approach has not changed. We sit down with you, learn what matters, show you the trade-offs of the plans we represent, and stay in touch every year after.
